Ayesha Tariq aka jazbaatiaurat is a multidisciplinary artist and has been in the comedy scene since 2014. She started with her improv troupe called The Platoon and then off-shoot troupe called General Specifics. She also dabbled in Musical Improv with her troupe S.O.U.L (Songs of our Lives). She also trained with Heather Urquhart and Jules Munn of the Nursery theatre, UK. She also did Standup comedy with her troupe called The Auratnaak Karachi. She also curated an epic standup comedy show called Behens of Comedy. She has performed with different shows and troupes locally such as the Khawatoons, Fitna Fassaad and Muhabbat, Mix Plate Improv, as well as online shows internationally. She has also taught improv in schools and privately and has offered corporate workshops. She is also a Penguin published author and illustrator of her graphic novel titled, ‘Sarah the Suppressed Anger of the Pakistani obedient daughter’
